Coconut Rice

The milky white colour and the fragrance itself is a great turn on !!! Will take center stage during special occasions for sure !!
Ingredients
- 1 inch cinnamon , 2 cloves , 2 cardamoms , 1 bay leaf crushed shopping list
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste shopping list
- 2 green chillies , slit shopping list
- 1 onion sliced shopping list
- 1 screwpine leaf , knotted ( pandan leaf ) shopping list
- 2 C raw rice ,washed and drained shopping list
- 3/4 C coconut milk plus 1 1/4 C water shopping list
- salt shopping list
How to make it
- Fry the spices in little oil .
- Saute the chillies , onions and the paste .
- Add the rice and mix well to coat .
- Place it in a rice cooker along with the milk and water .
- Check the salt and switch to COOK position .
