You put a lot of time and energy into this recipe. It is an absolute keeper. I just, this summer, seriously started to CAN and I love it. I love the cabbage addition. I have been adding cabbage to almost every soup and people love it. ^5!! Great job, Good Cooker!!!~~~Sas

I've never canned using a pressure canner, although my sister has. I've got one, so maybe I'll give it a try with this recipe. It looks great! I've made lots of water-bath canned items, so I know the drill.

I have never canned before and hopefully will get a chance to do that soon. Sounds great!My mom used to use a large pot and heat the glass jars in that. I haven't heard of a pressure canner. Can you buy that at any Walmart type store? Deb p.s. High 5!

It really does look good, Lana but could an amateur like me actually make this, I don't know anything about making soup or canning. 5 just the same. Any advice?
Thanks

Hey there my friend, Pete..The soup itself
would be a breeze.. Make a BIG pot for
a few days..(maybe Even freeze some in containers
for you & Candy.. The canning is a bit trickier,
but I doubt you would have that big problem.
Main things to remember are (I am sure you know)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1) EXTREME cleanliness of all materials
2) Healthiest and best available ingredients
3) Proper use of temperatures and sealing.
(these in my opinion are most important) maybe
one of our other chefs and home gardening and
canning folks will help as well..
All the best as always dear friend and a great week!
