Honeysnap cookies

- 1 1/2 cups shortening shopping list
- 2 cups granulated sugar shopping list
- 2 large eggs shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 cup honey shopping list
- 4 cups flour shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking soda shopping list
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Oven Temp: 375°
- Recipe Cooking Time: 10 to 12 minutes
- Pan Type: cookie sheet
- Preheat Oven.
- In a large mixing bowl combine the shortening and first amount of sugar, then beat until creamy.
- Add the eggs, vanilla, honey, flour, baking soda and cinnamon and beat until all dry ingredients are moistened.
- Roll into honeysnap balls about the size of a walnut.
- Dip honeysnaps into second amount of sugar and place 2 inches apart onto a pan.
- Bake your honeysnap cookies until lightly browned.
- Recipe Yields: 5 dozen
