Italian Potatoes

- 8 large red potatoes (about 5 pounds) shopping list
- 1 large can of diced tomatoes shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 cup chopped fresh Italian parsley leaves chopped shopping list
- 1 medium chopped green onion shopping list
- 3 large cloves garlic, thinly sliced shopping list
- 1 heaping teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 tablespoon Italian spices shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard shopping list
- 1 tablespoon sugar shopping list
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup olive oil shopping list
- 1/4 red wine vinegar shopping list
How to make it
- Peel and cut potatoes in half and place into a large pot, cover with water salt generously and bring to a boil.
- Cook potatoes over medium low heat until tender but still firm.
- Drain water, put potatoes into serving bowl
- Combine all the other ingredients with potatoes, stir well and let sit all day.
- Serve warm but not hot.

When I saw the red potatoes in this dish I became elated because I just dug some from my garden.
One of my dads and my favorite recipes is Veal potatoes and tomatoes which is just like this, only we added veal chops and simmered them until tende...moretrigger in loved it -
