Ingredients

How to make it

  • If frozen, thaw brussel sprouts
  • Cut in half
  • Cut into thin strips
  • Heat oil in saute pan to medium heat
  • Add garlic and saute for a minute
  • Turn heat up to medium high
  • Add brussel sprouts
  • Add salt and pepper
  • Cook until caramelized
  • Add butter

    I can't tell you how many brussels sprout converts I've made by serving them this way. The only thing I do differently is add a couple tablespoons of water in the pan and steam them for the first couple of minutes -- after the water evaporates they get to brown up a bit in the pan. My favorite!

    I love brussel sprouts, I have this thing about squishing them before I eat them. LOL
