Love Brussel Sprouts when sauteed over high heat to carmelized and get crispy.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb brussel sprouts ( I use frozen baby sprouts)
  • 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbls. butter

Directions
  1. If frozen, thaw brussel sprouts
  2. Cut in half
  3. Cut into thin strips
  4. Heat oil in saute pan to medium heat
  5. Add garlic and saute for a minute
  6. Turn heat up to medium high
  7. Add brussel sprouts
  8. Add salt and pepper
  9. Cook until caramelized
  10. Add butter

I love brussel sprouts, I have this thing about squishing them before I eat them. LOL

You just got Mary and I on this one, we love all veggies and brussel sprouts is up near the top. As soon as we get some, this how they will be made. Thanks......Bob


I can't tell you how many brussels sprout converts I've made by serving them this way. The only thing I do differently is add a couple tablespoons of water in the pan and steam them for the first couple of minutes -- after the water evaporates they get to brown up a bit in the pan. My favorite!
