My Easy But Ugly Cake Recipe

This was a last minute request for a pot luck dinner. So I made it easy as I could with what I had on hand. Can be made with any 2 contrasting colors. Mine were not in that much contrast but I did what I could with what I had.

Whip it good
swirl in 2nd batter
Don't drop the pan l
Off with it's head,

- 1 box lemon cake mix
- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- crisco
- wondra
- 2 cans butter cream frosting
Directions
- Prehit oven to 325F
- Grease and flour extra large bundt pan
- Prepare first cake according to box instruction
- Pour slowly into pan
- Repeat with 2nd cake mix
- Pour over fork into bowl swirling to make a pattern
- Bake in preheated oven 45 minutes
- Cool 30-40 minutes
- remove gently from bundt pan onto platter
- flat side down

- Slice off a section of top
- as evenly as possible about 2" from top
- Carefully set aside

- Use frosting or pudding if you wish for filling and replace top
- Frost the rest of cake

- That's it! Ugly but good!
