Cool evenings call for a hot cup of comfort

- 1 lb. dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 stick butter
- 1 tsp. cloves, ground
- nutmeg (optional)
Directions
- Melt butter is saucepan
- Cool
- Add all ingredients to butter and mix to paste
- Store in covered container in fridge
- To make 1 cup of Hot Buttered Rum
- Mix 1 teaspoon batter, 1 1/2 oz. dark rum and boiling water to fill Irish coffee cup
- Stir and sprinkle with nutmeg
