Ingredients

1 1/2 sticks of butter softened

1/3 cup powdered sugar

grated zest of 2 limes

1 T of vanilla

1 3/4 + 2 T flour

2 T freshly squeezed lime juice

2 T cornstarch

dash of salt

1 1/3 cups of powdered sugar

Directions

Blend butter and 1/3 cup powdered sugar

Add zest, lime juice and vanilla

Add flour, salt and cornstarch in sep bowl

Then add to butter mix

Gather into a ball

With lightly floured hands roll the dough into 2 long strips about 2"thick

Wrap in wax paper and freeze at least one hour

Preheat oven to 350

slice into 1/4" slices and bake 13-15 mins until lightly browned

when slightly cooled roll in the remaining powdered sugar.
