Ingredients
  • 2 California avocados (soft to touch, not mushy)
  • 1 clove fresh garlic, pureed in food processor
  • Dollop of Hellman’s mayo
  • Lemon juice ~ a little squeeze (use fresh lemon if it’s available)
  • 1 jar chunky style Old El Paso salsa
  • Tabasco to taste
  • Monterey Jack cheese w/jalapenos, shredded – we like to use 1 lb.

Directions
  1. Halve avocados long ways and separate by twisting.
  2. Using a spoon, scoop avocado from skin and place in large mixing bowl.
  3. Mash avocado with fork, then add mayo. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Stir in remaining ingredients, one at a time, and mix well.
  5. Chill, then enjoy! Serve with tortilla chips or pita points ~ we love home-fried flour tortilla chips with ours.

Looks grand... I'm a lover of guac from away back so will have to try this one.... I haven't used Old El Paso salsa before... does it only come in one size?
