Crispy Cheese Cookies

Another recipe from the archives of my former students, this was also a favorite at our ‘multicultural gang’s’ final exam project presentation. It was an immediate hit, and is oh, so easy. As usual, I’ve left the original recipe in the student’s own words. Read more YUMM! Enjoy! See less
Ingredients
- 1 pound sharp cheddar cheese shopping list
- 2 cups self-rising flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 sticks butter shopping list
- Great for beginners as well as experts! Simple ingredients and easy prep! shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Grate cheese.
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Roll into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- ‘Mash down’ with fork. (Priceless, right? ;o))
- Bake until very light brown. DON’T OVERCOOK! (My note.)
- Enjoy!

I love these, too and I haven't made them in years. I always liked adding just a touch of red pepper flakes..depending on who I was serving them to. Thanks so much for the recipe - high 5 m'dear! :)
