Chocolate Raspberry Bars Recipe

Ingredients

1.5 cups flour

3/4 c white sugar

3/4 c butter, softened

1 10 oz package frozen raspberries, thawed

1/4 cup orange juice

1 tbsp cornstarch

2 cups mini semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat oven to 350.

Mix flour, sugar and butter together and press batter into the bottom of a 9x13 baking pan. Bake for 15 min.

Meanwhile, mix the raspberries, OJ, and cornstarch together in a 1 quart pot.

Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir for 1 minute, then let cool for 10 minutes.

Sprinkle chocolate chips over baked crust.

Spoon raspberry mixture over crust and chips and spread evenly.

Bake 20 minutes or until raspberry mixture is set.

Remove from oven and let cool. Drizzle with more melted chocolate if desired.

Yeah, when CAN I come? This job keeps going on and on...just my luck! But hopefully before my little Maggie starts school - I can't be there on her first day...I would cry too hard and probably traumatize her.
