Thanks debbie! I'm one of those who can stand that lemony flavor in just about anything at all! It may be a while until I get to post it but my late father made a soup with bread noodles and lots of lemon zest. It was a Christmas only soup. My job when he was making it was separating the noodles so that they could dry before being put into his homemade stock. It almost doesn't taste the same when I make it. Maybe we two need our dads back with us, huh?

I don't like lemon pie as much as lemon cake. But the buttermilk in this recipe is looking more like a cheese cake than anything else. It looks like a goodie!
