A very simple appetizer with few ingredients .....................

- 1- ( 8 ounces) container of crabmeat, drained and shredded
- 8-10 ounces of mild or sharp cheddar cheese grated
- 1/2- cup mayonnaise
- 1/4- teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- pepper to taste .................or add a liitle zip and put some spicy hot peppers, and spice ...........
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- in a medium bowl, mix together all ingredients thoroughly
- transfer to a small 1 quart baking dish
- bake for 25 - 35 minutes or until lightly browned on top and bubbling at edges
- serve with crackers or small french bread toasts
- makes 8- 10 servings

I love crab! I have a recipe in my cookbook Stir, Laugh, Repeat that is for a hot "crab" bake but due to the expense of the real thing I've used imitation crab. It's delicious! This could be made with the same substitution.
