How to make it

  • Cream butter and sugar; beat in egg and vanilla
  • Stir together flour, coffee, baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt; slowly blend into creamed mixture
  • Using star plate, force through cookie press in 3-inch strips on ungreased cookie sheet
  • Bake at 375 degrees F for 10 - 12 minutes
  • Cool. Dip one end of each cookie in chocolate then coat with nuts.
  • Makes 6 1/2 dozen.
