Ingredients
  • 1 bunch broccoli
  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 container grape tomatoes
  • 4 pretzel rods
  • 1 recipe dill dip:
  • 8 ounces sour cream (can use lite)
  • 8 ounces real mayonnaise (can use lite)
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
  • 1 tablespoon Beau Monde seasoning
  • (if you can’t find Beau Monde, use 1 teaspoon each: garlic powder, celery salt and onion salt)
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon dried onion

Directions
  1. Break apart the broccoli into flowettes.
  2. Break apart the cauliflower into flowerettes.
  3. Place broccoli pieces on tray in the shape of a Christmas tree.
  4. Place grape tomatoes around the broccoli pieces.
  5. Place 4 pretzel rods for the "trunk" of the tree
  6. Scatter cauliflower pieces around the "base" of the tree for "snow".
  7. Mix up dip ingredients and serve with veggie platter.
  8. NOTE - cut out some small "star" shapes from a yellow pepper for additional tree decorations, if you have the time. Lots of "decorating" ideas with this platter!

This one is too cool, krum! I am not very creative and when I see stuff like this, it almost floors me. You got my five and my thanks, my friend. Happy New Year,
Lorraine

Crunch crunch crunch!! Yum

Great looking appetizer.... very festive..

So very clever!

This is the cutest arrangement so clever.
Five forks and a smile :)

You're quite the Artist, Krum! This is too lovely to eat. I think you should have your own cookbook with the picture above as the cover. You could make organic holiday cards with that as the picture! You're turned a simple recipe into a work of art. I'm very impressed!

Wow is that not the cutest spread ever. I love it! Im forsure going to make this one too. Next year is going to be a great time with all of these new recipes..thanks so much for sharing.

That's adorable! I hope I remember this next Christmas!
