Ingredients

How to make it

  • Place flour in bowl making a well in the center
  • Add same measure of whipping cream (may need to add lightly more cream depending on weather/humidity to form a slightly sticky dough)
  • Stir with a fork until flour is all admpened
  • Turn our on to floured surface and knewd just until smooth
  • Pat out dough to about 1/3 " thickness and cut with floured biscuit cutter
  • Place biscuits in greased pan
  • Brush tops with sald oil or melted butter
  • Bake 10-12 inutes at 400 or until browned

    These were very delicious! I found the smallest amount of whipping cream I could buy was one cup and I got 12 biscuits out the mix. Added my picture and more here

    Thanks Lori, These little biscuits were so easy and delicious! It was hard to stay away from them until they were cool enough to eat though! Very nice flavour with just butter on them. I used 1 1/2 have cups of the two ingredients. (I made the self rising flour with 11/2 tsp baking power and 1/2 tsp salt per cup of flour.) It made 14 biscuits with the amount I choose. I didn't have a small biscuit cutter but used a small juice glass measuring 21/2 inches and dipped it in the flour. It worked like a charm. I baked them at the required temperature for 15 minutes because these were thicker than specified in the recipe. The recipe is easy to remember and nice to know if ever in a hurry or visiting. I had been eying this recipe for quite sometime wondering how it would turn out. It is really too good to be true!

    Well I made them today, and they are wonderful!!! Anyone who has a problem with bisquits need to try these. The bisquits are so easy, quick, light, fluffy and delicious. I could make a meal off them alone. Wonderful-Thanks. Definately 5 forks from me. :-)
