Decadent French Toast

When I want to indulge, this is the way I do it for breakfast.
Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 1/2 cup half and half shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup orange juice shopping list
- 2 tbls. honey shopping list
- 2 tbls. Grand Marnier (orange liqueur) shopping list
- 1 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. orange rind, grated shopping list
- 12 slices brioche bread cut into 1/2 inch thick pieces shopping list
- 1/4 cup clarified/drawn butter (Posted) shopping list
- Serve with warm maple syrup and whipped butter shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 200
- In mixing bowl, whisk cream, half and half and eggs until combined
- Add orange juice, honey, Grand Marnier and spices and whisk until well blended
- Add bread slices to bowl and let them soak for a minute or so on each side (Don't leave so long that bread falls apart)
- Brush large skillet with butter and heat over medium heat until hot
- In batches, add bread to skillet and cook until golden brown
- Flip and finish cooking other side, adding butter as necessary
- Keep warm in oven until done cooking
- Serve with warm maple syrup and whipped butter
