How to make it

  • Marinate chicken in wine for min. 3hrs
  • preheat oven to 350
  • heat oil over low heat in med skillet
  • add garlic,green peppers, mushrooms and fresh herbs
  • saute' 7-10 mins until veggies are soft
  • coat bottom of baking dish lightly with sauce
  • place chicken breasts them top with pepper mushroom mixture
  • top with remaining sauce then cheeses
  • bake 45 min uncovered

    Picked this up in the Refugee Recipe Swap and glad I did...this was so easy, and very tasty. I loved the veggies mixin' in with the sauce the way they did, and LOVED the sage in this...the thyme, too, but I've used that in similar recipes, just never sage, which I LOVE with chicken. I used my own sauce, and did everything else the same...prolly the only thing I'd add is onion, next time, with the other veggies. Thanks for a great recipe, darlin'. :) Oh...and I added my pre and post baking pics :)
