Parmesan Balls Recipe
These little cheese balls go really well with cocktails...especially a good martini! They are full of flavor and a change of pace from bites of cheese! Makes 26 balls.

Ingredients
  • 1 ¼ cups flour, plus up to 3 tablespoons more if necessary
  • 1 cup loosely packed grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground white pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dry mustard
  • ½ cup melted butter

Directions
  1. In the bowl of the food processor, mix the flour, parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and dry mustard.
  2. Add the butter and work it in using the pulse button so the mixture forms crumbs.
  3. Press a few crumbs together with your fingers.
  4. If it’s sticky, add 2 to 3 tablespoons more flour.
  5. Butter a baking sheet.
  6. Turn the crumbs into a bowl, press them into balls 1- inch
  7. in diameter and place them on the baking sheet.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  9. Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
  10. Bake the cheese balls until lightly browned, 26 to 28 minutes.
  11. They keep well in an airtight container, or they can be frozen.
