Ingredients
  • 1 1/2- cups milk
  • 1/4- cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/8- teaspoon salt
  • 3- large egg yolks, lightly beaten
  • 2- tablespoons dark rum

Directions
  1. ok pour your self a glass of rum and coke to begin .............
  2. in a doubler broiler, combine the milk, brown sugar and salt.........
  3. cook over simmering water, stirring occasionally, until bubbles appear and the sugar dissolves...........
  4. mix a little of the hot milk mixture into the beaten egg yolks and then return all of it to the doubler broiler................. sample more rum and coke..........
  5. cook for about 15 minutes stirring constantly, until it thickens enough to coat the back of the spoon............... take another big gulp of your drink ......oh better make another one real quick......... or have someone else make it your hands are too busy stirring lol
  6. do not allow it to boil, or it will separate..............
  7. remove from the heat and let cool slightly, then stir in the rum..........yum!!!! lol..ok drink up cheers!!!!!!
  8. cover and let cool to room temperature, then chill thoroughly before serving ...........make another drink...........by now you are really feeling good and dont care about the custard or not lol............
  9. serves 4..........
  10. relax have one more put the custard away till tomorrow go watch a movie if you can see it lol................enjoy

Fantastic custard. I can imagine it over English Christmas pudding & many other desserts. Ooooh, most definately a 5 forks. Can't wait to try it cause I'm already drooling.
