Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to 400F
  • Take one sheet of puff pastry and cut it into fours,
  • Place the pastry on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  • With small knife, make a slit in a frame pattern about a half inch in from the edge. Do not cut through all the way.
  • Place a dollop of pesto on each pastry tart and spread to cut lines.
  • Slice the cherry tomatoes in half and place on top of pesto crowd them on in a random pattern.
  • Place the pan in the oven for ten minutes remove and add the fete cheese.
  • Add some fresh ground black pepper.
  • Return to the oven for another eight minutes.
  • Remove from oven and serve warm.
  • Fantastic for a wine tasting party.
  • * Note Black Olives make a nice alternative
