This recipe comes from my files. It is one that I have been making for years though I don't know where I originally got this recipe. I make it from memory and am making it tonight for supper but thought I would share it with you since it is a quick... More

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups cooked fresh corn
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • Melt butter then add flour and mix well.
  • Add milk gradually and bring to boiling stirring constantly.
  • Add corn, salt and pepper then heat thoroughly.
  • Remove from fire and add well beaten eggs then pour into greased baking dish.
  • Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
