Jalapeno Hot Sauce

- 1 tsp. vegetable oil shopping list
- 20 fresh jalapeno peppers,sliced shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic,minced shopping list
- 1/2 c minced onion shopping list
- 3/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 2 c water shopping list
- 1 c white vinegar shopping list
How to make it
- In med glass or enamel lined sauce pan over high heat,combine oil,peppers,garlic,onion and salt;saute 4 mins. Add the water and cook 20 mins,stirring often. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
- Transfer the mixture to a food processor and puree till smooth. With processor running,slowly add the vinegar.
- Pour into sterilized jar with tight lid. This sauce will keep for 6 months when stored in the refrigerator.
