How to make it

  • In med glass or enamel lined sauce pan over high heat,combine oil,peppers,garlic,onion and salt;saute 4 mins. Add the water and cook 20 mins,stirring often. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
  • Transfer the mixture to a food processor and puree till smooth. With processor running,slowly add the vinegar.
  • Pour into sterilized jar with tight lid. This sauce will keep for 6 months when stored in the refrigerator.

    Thank-you for this nice recipe.

    I like to sprinkle hot sauce over fried eggs,when I have them in the morning..this would be just the ticket..homemade seems so much better.
