This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the an estate sale in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1982.[

Farmers cheese is a very soft cheese like cream cheese or goat cheese. Goat cheese could easily be substituted.

Does this need to set up for flavors to meld together? I am thinking one day? Or does the yogurt get in the way of that and you need to use it up right away? This looks promising for a nice twist for a spread. Love the fact that you found it in a family collection of recipes. To me a farmers cheese is firmer than a goat cheese, more like a mozzarella or fontina.
