Easter fiasco #1
I once arrived to the family easter dinner with beautifully decorated eggs that I traveled with in their original egg carton..running late as usually, I ran them straight to the dinner table where my Mom's fancy french egg basket was always put on the table for Easter
- I started adding eggs furiously, until - you guessed it, the egg carton tilted, eggs started rolling on the table - and egad! The eggs were soft boiled!
- One ran right to my 93 year old grandmother at the time, and with the quickest hands that any football player would be happy to have, she caught the egg in mid air before it fell to the oriental carpet below the table....
--my adviceI use now ?!? Never boil two dozen eggs at the same time in one pot, unless you know eggsactly what you are doing - rofl!
