Baked Ham And Cheese Omelet Roll
My family had Christmas yesterday due to my father being ill on the actual holiday. I grabbed a big slice of leftover ham and brought it home. I chopped some of it up this morning to make this. I made half and baked it in a buttered 8 x 8 pan. I wish I hadn't cooked it the whole 15 minutes but that's my fault. I had a bit of a hard time rolling it up in the pan so I put it on a cookie sheet and then it rolled up quite easily. I let it sit for a couple of minutes before I sliced it up. Very delicious. I hope it reheats well but I'm not certain about that.
Found this using "eggs" "ham" and "milk" in the ingredient search.

This looks like a stuffed Dutch Baby.

That's what I thought, too, Points, but it also looks more like scrambled eggs, which I can't eat. My oven pancake recipe has less eggs and more flour, so it's more like a Yorkshire pudding-like consistency: Oven Pancake

That is beautiful! It does remind me of a Dutch Baby. Here is one I made forever ago Dutch Baby With Jalapeno And Avocado Salsa :)

Your recipe looks very close to mine, Mommyluvs2cook, only with spices. Spicy food is another thing I can't have. :(

Yup, that's a Dutch Baby. It's supposed to have that creamy Yorkshire pudding thing going on.
I did a lot of research on them and in my recipes developed an Oven Pancake which has all the attributes of a Dutch Baby without deflating.

That looks SO good Frankieanne. I bookmarked it to give it a whirl myself. I've made a similar thing before that is served with a cheese sauce. It called to bake it on parchment on a rimmed cookie sheet and then you use the parchment paper underneath to help it roll better.

    Thank you everyone!
I thought that too, pso, about the Dutch Baby/oven pancake thing when I saw how it had puffed up.
I think the only reason why I was having trouble rolling it up was the size of the pan. Its hard to get your hands down in there to roll up in something that small. It came out of the pan super easy. Then I had no trouble at all rolling it up. I was going to take a picture of the roll but all my cookie sheets have that brown old cookie sheet look to them and I didn't want that to be in the picture. I'm vain, I guess. :-P

    Dawn Power Dissolver!..............That's the ticket.
Did an exhaustive research on how to lift that burnt on cooking spray.
Dawn Power Dissolver does the job. I was able to find it at Walmart. Now I can't. If you can get it, buy several bottles so you can have some and you can sell me some.

Awesome Points!! I'm so looking for that next time I go to the store. Bet if I can't find it, I could find it online somewhere...you can find anything on line :)

I'm going to check at Staples then Home Depot. Looks like the cup and a half spray bottle has been discontinued but a quart size is now available. All the on-line stores want you to buy a case of 6. And I think there is a use by date.
A quart spray bottle will do me for a long time.

hehe, Michelle. I keep thinking I should buy new ones for photos but the old ones "work" perfectly fine! :) I've never heard of Dawn Power Dissolver. Had to Google it. It sure is expensive!!

I found one 32 oz bottle for for $39.99 or a case of six for $65.29 on amazon.com. I can't imagine I would ever use six bottles. I should just buy one new, clean cookie sheet and use it only for photos.

Hang on to that for a day. I bought some Krud Kleaner that has very high praises. Give me a chance to check it out.
