Coconut Custard Pie

  • browneyegirl 10 years ago
Today I decided to make Twill10 Coconut Custard Pie.As I added the ingredients and I thought to myself that this recipe was pretty easy. The thing is ~ is that I thought to myself that's alot of milk. The next time that I make this again that I'm gonna use alot less milk.I thought that it was going to be just one pie crust for this.I nibbled on it and I thought the taste was pretty good.

Truthfully to be honest with you.I was going to make my Peanut Butter PIe on the second version of what I had came up with.I didn't have no flour because I ran out of flour on this recipe for this Coconut Custard Pie.

As you see that I added the photo for this Coconut Custard Pie.

Wow, that is interesting that it makes its own crust! Is it like a pie crust?

Noticed that your pies have listed toward one edge of the pie pans. Is your oven level?

Frankieanne, That's what I thought as well.
Pointsevenout, it was the way I was standing when I took the photo. We've been having some problems with the oven as well.It seems like our stove isn't level at all.I sure do miss my "OLD STOVE" though. Here's the deal though. When I tend to make cakes that it seems like it goes off to one side.Chris tryed to level out the oven and still doesn't work.

Browneyegirl, When we put bump in. It just moves recipes recently made it to the top of this thread page. So people can see what is recently made for the day. We are working getting some maintenance done in here. Which sometimes interferes with that. Frankieanne will come in and erase the bumps after. Not to confuse people. I hope I answered your question?

O.K. Lets see if I can explain why you are getting notifications your e-mail.
If you go to your profile page and where it says setting. I know you have been in there because you know how to change your avatar picture. Above in the profile settings you will see tabs. Click on the notifications tab. You will have choices that come up that you can click on what type of messages you want to receive. When you start a thread you will received a notification, whenever another comment has been added to
the thread like this one Coconut Custard Pie. You can decide for yourself if you want to receive notifications on threads or not. Myself, I think it is wise to keep notifications on. *Someone makes a comment on your recipe. Other than that the rest is up to your own preference. The reason I would leave the one on in your recipe comments is in case someone asks a question about one of your recipes. I hope this helps?

You probably got the email notice that I had commented on your recipe and then came here and didn't see it, may be because I "bumped" it and FA probably deleted that "bump" before you saw it.
