This is in memory of my dear mother-in-law Lucy(Ludwika), who loved to cook! She and her family were almost destroyed during the war. Their acres of land, livestock, home and ...More possessions were all stolen from them. They were forced from their home onto a train bound for Siberia and did not expect to survive. They somehow managed despite dreadful conditions. After a period of time, they were able to travel down through Europe, Persia, India and finally landed in Africa. They spent 3-1/2 years living in huts for displaced persons. After that they had the opportunity to go to England, which they did. This is just a portion of the story. Lucy's experience was fascinating, yet very tragic. I hope I can dedicate the time required to maintain this group. Dziękuję or Thank You
