Lemon Spaghetti

- 1 lb spaghetti shopping list
- 2/3 cup olive oil shopping list
- 2/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated shopping list
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 3 lemons) shopping list
- salt and freshly ground pepper shopping list
- 1 Tbsp lemon zest shopping list
- 1/3 cup chopped basil leaves shopping list
How to make it
- Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water , stirring occasionally, until tender but still firm to the bite, about 8 minutes.
- Meanwhile, whisk the oil, Parmesan, and lemon juice in a large bowl.
- Drain pasta, reserving 1 cup cooling liquid.
- Toss pasta with the lemon sauce and the reserved cooking liquid, adding 1/4 of a cup at a time as needed to moisten.
- Season with salt and pepper .
- Garnish with lemon zest and chopped basil.
