BEAVER TAILS

- 1 tsp granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups lukewarm water shopping list
- 1 tsp yeast shopping list
- 1tsp veg oil shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups flour shopping list
- oil for frying shopping list
- butter & cinnamon sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Disolve sugar in water.
- Add yeast, set aside for 5 minutes.
- Add oil & salt.
- Gradually fold in flour.
- Knead to a smooth texture.
- Smear a small amount of oil ontop of dough and cover with plastic wrap.
- Let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes.
- Roll dough on lightly floured board to 1/2-inch thickness.
- Cut into 3x5 strips. fry until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Spread on butter while still hot & sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Serve, while warm.

I can't believe I found this recipe here. I had these one time at The Canadian National Exhibition, in Toronto and they are so good that we went back for seconds. Thank you for posting and high 5 for sure.
