    i like to chop beetroot to give a salad a nice kick rather than always adding dressings.

    We used to roast beets, potatoes, and other root vegetables when we could still burn leaves in the fall. The whole neighborhood would join the feast. Too bad the city had to kill the fun!!! Great recipe to bring back the memories!
