I know it is silly to post this but, I love popcorn and sometimes just can't get enough of it. I tried this once using olive oil instead of vegetable oil and have stuck with it. Olive oil gives a really nice and different flavor to popcorn.

I never would have thought to use olive oil. Would extra virgin work?

My goodness Joe, I cant even remember the last time I actually made popcorn on the stove top. It's about time to do it again just for old time sake...:-) 5 kernels from me

My mom used to pop it on top of the stove. It was always soooooo much better than the microwave stuff. Thanks for the memories and the smile :)

Yum...I've always made popcorn in a pot. Use to watch Saturday Night at the Movies with a big bowl of popcorn. Will try with the olive oil, now. 5UP
