Creamy Chicken Wild Rice Soup in Crockpot

- 1 whole chicken cut in half (about 3-4 pounds) shopping list
- 4 medium carrots sliced shopping list
- 2 stalks celery sliced shopping list
- 2-3 cloves garlic chopped shopping list
- 1 large onion chopped shopping list
- 1 pepper chopped (red or green, or both) shopping list
- 2 tsp dried rosemary shopping list
- 2 bay leaves shopping list
- 1 tsp paprika shopping list
- 1 tsp lemon peel shopping list
- 1/2 tsp pepper shopping list
- 3 (14 oz) chicken broth shopping list
- 3/4 to 1 cup uncooked wild rice, rinsed & drained shopping list
- 1 can cream of chicken soup shopping list
- 1/4 cup parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Cut chicken in half and remove as many of rib bones as possible
- In crockpot add veggies, chicken, seasonings, rice, broth, soup
- Turn on high for about 5 hours
- Remove chicken, take off skin, and cut up in to pieces
- Lower to low for another hours
- Done!!
- Enjoy. it's a filling soup
