Ingredients
  • 1/2 pint sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 Cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. celery salt
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash pepper
  • 8 boneless skinless chicken breasts (I usually only use 4 very good sized ones)
  • 3 Cups herb seasoned stuffing mix, rolled fine (and put in a bowl big enough to roll the chicken in)

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl(big enough to dredge the chicken) combine the sour cream, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, & melted butter with the remaining seasonings.
  3. Dip the chicken in the sour cream mixture.
  4. Then roll in the herb stuffing crumbs.
  5. Arrange chicken in a shallow greased pan.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

I like the idea of dipping them in a sour cream mixture - I think I remember having it that way many years ago and it was so moist and juicy. Great post!

This is wonderful....A definate must try for me....

This does sound yummy. I am printing it off cause I have some chicken breasts that I was trying to find something new to use them in and I do believe this will be the recipe. Thanks so much for posting.

Oh, these sound good. I haven't tried this method before and will have to give it a try. (chicken breasts were on sale at 1.99 b/l s/l and I stocked up) We'll be clucking around here soon enough.

I got the chicken recipe all printed off and had the chicken in hand and went to find some stuffing and I was OUT LOL. But I have stuffing on my shopping list and I am going to make it soon. :) Donna

This really sounds delicious and I hope to make it for my family very soon.

I "stumbled"(I love that feature) onto this recipe and it sounds delicious. I will definitely have to make this one.

Mmmmmmmm...this sounds good, I will be giving this one a try.

Oh my gosh... Yes this recipe sounds so amazingly delicious that I'm bound to make it for dinner tonight. Cheers!!!

Anyone have any ideas for what to use besides sour cream that is milk free? we have one allergic in the house, and she usually gets left out of yummies like this. If not, I'll be making it tomorrow and she'll have Tyson nuggets...again!

thanks, Lara

I made this tonight and it was great! Juicy just like she said...be aware though, most "dips" are much thinner and the thickness of this one threw me off, but it was awesome. I will definitely make it again, not to mention, trust this cook's recipes. :) Thanks!

Good grief! If this is your first recipe, I really need to see what you're cooking now! It looks excellent!
