A delicious peanut butter cake. A wonderful crowd pleaser!
Ingredients
- Cake: shopping list
- 3/4 c. butter shopping list
- 3/4 c. brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 c. white sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 c. peanut butter shopping list
- 2 1/4 c. flour shopping list
- 1 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. soda shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. milk shopping list
- FROSTING: shopping list
- 1/2 c. butter shopping list
- 1 c. brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 c. milk shopping list
- 2 c. powdered sugar shopping list
- 3/4 c. peanut butter shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare cake:
- Cream butter with brown sugar.
- Add and cream the white sugar.
- Add eggs, vanilla, and peanut butter; mix well. Add flour sifted with baking powder, soda and salt.
- Alternately mix small portions of creamed mixture, flour mixture and milk.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes in angel food pan or bundt pan.
- Prepare frosting:
- Cream together butter, brown sugar, milk, powdered sugar and peanut butter.
- Spread frosting over warm cake.
