Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Let stand about 10 minutes, until frothy. Stir in sugar, milk, egg, salt, and enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead for 6 to 8 minutes on a lightly floured surface, or until smooth. Place dough in a well oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and set aside to rise. Let it rise 1 hour, until the dough has doubled in volume.
  • Punch down dough, and knead in garlic.
  • now, preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
  • now, make small balls out of dough about the size of a golf ball.this will make about 10 balls.
  • roll out the small balls in to think, 1 inch dough. put it on the baking tray and bake for 8 minutes or until lightly browned from the bottom.
  • garnish half naans with parsley and half with butter!
  • serve hot with dips, curry, or eat it plain!
  • ENJOY

Never had this! I love making breads, so this will be a nice change to make something I've never tried.

I adore naan but never thought I could make it. Your recipe seems simple and to the point. I'm not much of a baker but I'm going to give this a whirl. thanks!

This sounds very easy! I've made naan bread but it was fried instead of baked! I'll have to try baking it next time!
