Seared Scallops

- 16 large,dry seas scallops shopping list
- 2 tsp butter shopping list
- 2 tsp olive oil shopping list
- 1 dash kosher salt shopping list
How to make it
- Remove small side muscle from scallops,rinse with cold water and thoroughly pat dry.
- Add butter to 12 or 14" saute pan on high heat. Salt and pepper scallops.
- Once the fat begins to smoke,gently add scallops,making sure they are not touching each other.
- Sear scallops for 1-1/2 mins on each side. The scallops should have a 1/4" golden crust on each side while still being translucent in the center. Serve immediately.
