The Game Hot Dog

This is an homemade recipe that has as a job to create a new fancy look to the traditional hot dog that may seem less fancy let's see !
Ingredients
- 4 game sausage (anything you want) shopping list
- 2/3 lump of puff pastry shopping list
- 3 oz of your favorite cheese (may your favorite be old cheddar :D) shopping list
- 2 teaspoon of mustard shopping list
- 2 teaspoon of chopped tarragon shopping list
- 1 egg yolk shopping list
- 4 teaspoon of milk shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Grill your sausages for some time and then let cool
- 2. Extend the puff pastry on your board, cut it in band that are a little bit less large than the sausages
- 3. Drop the sausages on the pastry bands and whitewash them with mustard, add thin slice of cheese and the tarragon
- 4. Roll up the bands around the sausages and seal it with the yolk and the milk
- 5. Cook them in a oven on a pastry sheet, at 400° for 12 to 15 minutes
- 6. Serve with homemade ketchup !

this looks so good! I have crescent roll dough in the fridge, do you think that would work as well? Also, I don't have tarragon-any suggestions for a substitute?

Made these today using bratwurst and smoked gouda. I agree - these are sinful. Very filling, too! I don't know why, but mine took 25 minutes to get brown. Added my picture.
