Made these today using bratwurst and smoked gouda. I agree - these are sinful. Very filling, too! I don't know why, but mine took 25 minutes to get brown. Added my picture.

I was wondering what your favorite kind of cheese is? What do they have in Montreal Canada?

Well, I made these last night with All Natural All Beef Hot Dogs and New Zealand Organic White Cheddar Cheese. I did end up using the crescent roll dough and I was afraid during preparation there wasn't enough dough to go around (even though there were 8 dogs and 8 triangles) but once I figured out I could stretch the dough gently it worked out well. I did leave out tarragon b/c I don't have any and did not end up trying to sub it for anything. My beau called them "sinful" and these surely beat out just your regular dog in a bun.

this looks so good! I have crescent roll dough in the fridge, do you think that would work as well? Also, I don't have tarragon-any suggestions for a substitute?

I hate those store bought buns, this may just be the ticket.
