Apple Cream Cheese Cobbler

- 2, 8 0z cans of crescent rolls shopping list
- 2, 21 0z cans of apple pie filling shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 3, 8oz pkg cream cheese softened at room temp shopping list
- 1 stick sweet butter ( unsalted ) melted shopping list
How to make it
- Cream the softened cream cheese and add the vanilla to it
- Combine the sugar with the cinnamon and measure out 1 cup and set it aside
- Add remaining sugar mixture to the cream cheese and blend well
- Place a can of crescent rolls in the bottom of a 10 inch sqaure or similar baking pan ( open up rolls and pat to fit the pan
- Spread on cream cheese over rolls
- Open up apple pie filling and spread both cans over the cream cheese
- Place the second can of crescent rolls over the pie filling
- Sprinkle on the remaining sugar mixture on top
- Finally pour over the melted butter over the top
- Sprinkle on some more cinnamon if desired
- Bake in a 350F about 35 to 40 minutes until top is brown and bubbly
- Note: I found out its best to let the dessert stand about 15 minutes before cutting or scoopping right out of the pan
