Cowboy Cookies
From chuckieb 13 years agoIngredients
- 1 cup margarine shopping list
- 1 cup white sugar shopping list
- 1 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 2 cups rolled oats shopping list
- 1 cup chocolate chips shopping list
- 1/2 cup raisins shopping list
- 1/2 cups chopped nuts (I like pecans) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 Degrees. Grease a baking sheet lightly.
- In large bowl, cream together margarine and sugars until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla.
- In medium bowl stir together flour, soda, baking powder and salt. Add to sugar mixture along with oats and chocolate chips. Stir until well mixed. Add raisins and nuts, mix well. Dough will be crumbly.
- Drop mounded spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheet. Bake in preheated 350 Degree oven for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool on a rack. The recipe says that these freeze well, but I never have any left over long enough to try.
- Enjoy!

Awesome! I added a tsp of Cinnamon, and used walnuts for lack of pecans. :)
