Favorite Hamburger

- 2 pounds chopped beef chuck or round shopping list
- 1 onion (grated finely, I dont always add) shopping list
- 3 tablespoon heavy cream (I use more) shopping list
- Freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- garlic, opptional shopping list
How to make it
- Mix and BBQ. I use much more cream. This makes the meat very moist as you grill. When I started using this recipe I DID NOT TELL anyone I was using cream. Everyone was going for seconds and thirds. I thought if I told them I was using cream they would not like this. But seems like they are all using this recipe now. It is basically adding a fat mixture to the meat mixture to keep it from drying out. Don't be alarmed the meat color gets funky from adding the cream to the cold meat. OF course we added more! I think this is originally a James Beard recipe that he served on an english muffin and had pan fried. I grill this. This can be pan fried as I often do in the winter months.

Oh, yeah, this was the good stuff! I pan fried and used just the 1 tablespoon, and we just wished we could eat it slower - it was delicious.
