How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients except salmon and whisk to combine.
  • Pour into bottom of baking dish with sides(I used cast iron and highly recommend it, if it's an option)
  • Place salmon, skin side UP into sauce in pan and let rest 15-30 min at room temperature.
  • Turn salmon pieces in the pan and roast them, skin side DOWN
  • in 425 oven for about 10-15 minutes or until salmon flakes. Do not over cook!

This was really different. It’s hard to describe, but turned out more like a blackened salmon. The thing I loved the most about this recipe was its sake of ease. I like the idea of marinating the salmon in the same cooking pan. Also, I used a cast iron skillet as suggested.

I made this tonight. I thought it was great. I went through 4 plates trying to take a decent picture. That will take some getting used to. I used dill seed instead of dill weed by mistake (operator/ wannaBcook error while shopping.......didnt know there would be more than 1 "dill" choice and grabbed the first thing I saw) I don't know if that makes a difference or not, but thought this was a very easy and great tasting dish. I cooked mine for 12 minutes. I rarely eat salmon out due to 90%+ gets over cooked. This came out just right. Thanks Keni

I made this for dinner a couple weeks ago and it was very good! I love salmon, too. I wouldn't go so far as to call myself a salmon snob though because I do like to experiment & have tried many recipes on this site. My beau on the other hand doesn't like fish or most seafood very much and prefers my salt & pepper salmon above all - go figure! I did leave out the coriander as I didn't have any but otherwise followed the recipe. We both enjoyed this. I don't want to rate this because I left out an ingredient and don't know how much of a difference that makes.. Thanks!
