How to make it

  • Bring water and broth to a boil then stir in rice, caraway seed and salt. Cook until liquid is absorbed in a covered pan over low heat- about 20 minutes. Add butter and fluff with fork. Serve garnished with parsley.

    Very Nice.. I'll use this as a compliment dish to some Hungarian Goulash recipes. Most call for caraway in the goulash, some do not. In general I find the caraway flavor intensity is lost in the goulash and I find that disappointing. Now I can compliment goulash with a clearly defined caraway flavor sense by serving this dish with it!

    Jeeze Meow... your killin me. I love rice I love caraway... and I want to make the Risotto with the saffron... To many recipes, not enough time!

    This is the rice dish to serve with the Honey chop recipe I just read. Caraway is so underused and it is a great flavor enhancer.
