How to make it

  • To make the lime dip, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, lime zest and juice in bowl. Set aside.
  • In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and saute shallots and paprika for 2 minutes or until turning golden. Add wine and bring to boil. Boil for about 2 minutes or until reduced by half. Add shrimp and cook, stirring constantly for about 4 minutes or until shrimp is pink and firm.
  • Serve shrimp with dip.

    Yum!!! :-) :-) Holy cow, these were good. And, again, SO easy and quick, which is what the doctor ordered, right now. I had to sub lemon because I was out of limes, assuming my brother would come home with some more, but he said they just didn't look or feel good. (I taught him well ;)... so, lemon was a sub. Added a lil more mayo and also a dollop of Dijon, along with some fresh ground pepper to the sauce, and it was great! The shrimp, I didn't sub anything other than used half butter and half olive oil. I served this with a wonderful cheesy polenta from a friend on another site. Thank you for another keeper, Chuckie! Now Dinner With Chuckie

    Feeling a bit cheated out of my shrimp ration. I believe this will be a lovely cheat for me and Mr. SuchAFuss. I love the preparation of the shrimp.
