How to make it
- Mix the balsamic vinegar, olive oil and sugar together and put in the refrigerator to chill for about 30 minutes or so. Mine ended up chilling for about an hour.
- Slice the tomatoes and cut the cucumber into bite sized pieces. Add the basil and pour the dressing on. Toss and serve.
- I like the chilled dressing on top of the still-warm-from-the-garden ingredients. I think next time I will put some red onion in this.
