Ingredients

1 1/2 cups sugar

26 oz bottle of brandy

2 oranges

2 quart jar with lid

Directions

Jar must have tight fitting lid.

Pour into jar the brandy.

Add sugar and dissolve.

Wash orange very well, prick all over with a fork.

Thread a string through the orange; suspend orange in the jar above liquid.

Dont let orange touch liquid.

Each day for 5 days twist jar for 5 minutes.

At the end of 5 days replace orange and repeat for 3 days.

Remove orange and let sit for 2 days.

At the end of the 2 days pour into bottles.
