This is a great way to use the green tomatoes at the beginning or end of the season. Use for any meal, as a main dish or side. You can also make it vegan by omitting the bacon and using veggie oil.
Complement w/ a salad and cornbread.

This sounds really good, I been looking for a good fried green tomatoe recipe, will give this one a shot. Like the idea of using bacon grease, winning combination, good for flavor.
