I grew up in Philly and Tasty Kake was what I ran to the the corner store for instead of penny candy growing up. Of course it was not a penny! Tasty Kakes has changed over the years and the cakes are smaller and don't taste nearly as good as they use... More

Me being an Idaho girl. most of my life , had never heard of Tasty Kakes..well..in 1988 I was introduced to them when I went back east to meet my husband ( boyfriend at the time)family. I love them! My husband loves them but they do not sell them in Idaho. WHen we go back east for a visit its Tasty kakes..and Duncan Donuts! My hubby will be thrilled with these. Thanks again for sharing! Michelle

I made these the other day and every time I looked in the fridge, there was another row gone.LOL:o) They were so good. My daughter commented on how unusual they were with the soft yet chewy cake on the bottom and the hard crunch of the chocolate coating on top and the surprise creamy peanut butter in between. Will be making these again and again. Thanks again.
