This dish is quite easy to make, yet looks fancy. The combination of chocolate and raspberry is very decedent. I love the flavor of the top. Must try!

Ingredients
  • 1 pkg (4 serving) raspberry jello
  • 1 1/4 cup boiling water
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream softened
  • 1 pkg chocolate crumb crust
  • 3 T margarine
  • 2 squares semi-sweet chocolate
  • Cool Whip Topping thawed (optional)
  • raspberries (optional)

Directions
  1. Dissolve Jello in boiling water.
  2. Spoon in ice cream, combine until melted and smooth.
  3. Chill until slightly thickened (10 mins).
  4. Pour into crust. Chill until firm (2 hours).
  5. Melt margarine & chocolate. Cool, slightly.
  6. Spread over pie.
  7. Chill until chocolate hardens.
  8. Garnish with whipped topping & raspberries, if desired.

Recipe sounds good but I won't be able to make it while living in England as one can't get Cool Whip here and powdered raspberry jello would be difficult to find. I will bookmark it though for sometime down the road.
