Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine Flour, Bisquick, Pepper, Garlic Salt, Paprika and Cinnamon in one bowl
  • In a second Bowl beat the egg
  • Put the oil in the fry pan and heat it up
  • Dredge the chicken one at a time in the egg
  • Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture
  • Put the chicken in the hot pan of oil.
  • Brown each side of the chicken until golden brown and crispy and it's best to put a lid over it because I've found the meat turns out tender.
  • When each side is done you bake it for about 20 to 30 minutes

Bisquick is an easy way to make pancakes. You just add milk and egss and "Poof"....lol...it's just a dry mixture that I like to use with my flour. It adds a nice thickness to it

Isn't it fun to learn new things in the kitchen. The bisquick adds a nice crispiness to it rather than just flour.

I love using Bisquick to fry chicken in. I have tried the self rise flour ... just not as good. I also bake mine so it gets rid of lots of the grease. Good recipe! I have never tried using cinnamon ... does it make it sweet?
